Mac Household Ledger Sync

Terms of use

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Mac Household Ledger Sync is personal software for organizing household tasks with optional read-only Gmail context. It is not a public email service, and it is not intended for use by people outside the household.

Account authorization

The Gmail connection is optional. The account owner chooses whether to grant Google's gmail.readonly permission to one configured household account. The software is designed to refuse other Gmail profiles and does not send, modify, label, archive, or delete messages.

Permitted use

Use the software only for household task organization and only with accounts and information you are authorized to access. Do not use it to access another person's mailbox, bypass account security, or upload data you do not have permission to use.

Local operation and assistant context

The ledger is designed to run on the household Mac. If you explicitly request email context through a connected assistant, that selected information is provided to the assistant and handled under the assistant provider's own terms and privacy practices. Review the Privacy Policy for the storage and retention details.

Availability and responsibility

This is personal household software provided without a service-level guarantee. It may be unavailable, incomplete, or change as the household setup changes. Do not rely on it as the sole record for urgent, financial, legal, or safety-critical decisions. Keep independent copies of information you need to preserve.

Third-party services

Use of Google Gmail and any connected assistant is also subject to the relevant provider's terms. This software does not control those providers or guarantee their availability or data-handling practices.
